  1. Another interesting use of typeface: the Swedish trailer or promotion for season 4 of Mad Men (found on youtube). 'Mad Men' is a brilliant show set in an advertising agency in New York in the 1960's.
This trailer doesn't rely upon the physical presence of actors, instead communicating some of the key moments of the season in text, font, size, and sound. It is a rather profound tactic,
as Mad Men is one of the most visually sumptuous television shows currently airing: from the costumes, to the set design, even extending to the actual adverts that the characters produce in the series.
Typefaces have been used to correspond to the disembodied voices - giving the characters a temporary, or fleeting presence. The voices and text rely upon the viewer's own pre-possessed knowledge of who the characters are, and why they would be articulating such things.
