This trailer doesn't rely upon the physical presence of actors, instead communicating some of the key moments of the season in text, font, size, and sound. It is a rather profound tactic, as Mad Men is one of the most visually sumptuous television shows currently airing: from the costumes, to the set design, even extending to the actual adverts that the characters produce in the series. Typefaces have been used to correspond to the disembodied voices - giving the characters a temporary, or fleeting presence.
